Part-time Remote Accountant

We are seeking a skilled and experienced part-time remote accountant to join our team. As an accountant, you will play a hands-on role across compliance and client engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare financial statements, tax returns and BAS reports.
  • Oversee compliance for Self-Managed Super Funds (SMSFs).
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients.
  • Review files and support junior team members.
  • Assist in improving internal systems and processes.
Requirements:
  • Experience working in an Australian public practice firm.
  • Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) qualified, or working towards qualification.
  • Strong technical understanding of taxation and SMSF legislation.
  • Excellent communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in cloud-based accounting software such as Xero and BGL.
