Position Overview

We are seeking a tech-savvy Mobile & Web App Developer with a strong C# background to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will design and implement a cross-platform mobile application using the .NET MAUI framework, leveraging our existing .NET Core backend infrastructure. You'll be responsible for translating our existing Razor Pages web application into iOS and Android apps, ensuring seamless integration with backend APIs and an intuitive user experience. This is a hands-on development role in a small, collaborative team, offering the opportunity to shape a key product from the ground up.


Key Responsibilities
  • Cross-Platform Development: Develop robust, user-friendly mobile applications for iOS and Android using .NET MAUI, mirroring and enhancing the functionality of our existing Razor Pages web app.
  • Integration & Implementation: Integrate the mobile app with our existing .NET Core backend and APIs, ensuring efficient data flow and secure operations.
  • Maintenance & Support: Maintain and support the mobile applications post-launch, including debugging issues, optimizing performance, and releasing updates with new features or improvements.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Software Lead and other team members in our small, agile team. Participate in code reviews, planning sessions, and brainstorming to deliver features on time and to specifications.

Requirements
  • Mobile Development Experience: Proven experience building mobile applications for iOS and Android (native or cross-platform). Familiarity with cross-platform frameworks (e.g., .NET MAUI or Xamarin) is a plus.
  • C# / .NET Proficiency: Strong proficiency in C# and .NET Core for web application development. Experience with ASP.NET (Razor Pages/MVC) and understanding of web backend architecture are highly valued.
  • API Integration Skills: Hands-on experience with RESTful API design and integration. Ability to work with backend developers to define APIs and consume them in mobile apps.
  • Business Acumen: Solid understanding of business process workflows and the ability to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
  • Problem-Solving Mindset: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude towards tackling technical challenges.
  • On-Site Availability: Must be able to work on-site at our Sunshine Coast, QLD office (this is an in-office position).
