The Role

Loco Love is seeking a strategic, creative, and purpose-driven Head of Marketing to lead and evolve our brand presence across Australia and beyond.

This is a part-time role based in Byron Bay (or hybrid by negotiation), 4 days per week. As a key member of the leadership team, you'll drive the development and execution of marketing strategies that build emotional connection with our community, grow our eCommerce and wholesale channels, and reflect the heart and soul of the Loco Love brand.

This position would be particularly well-suited to someone with experience in premium lifestyle, wellness, beauty or food brands - who brings a balance of strategic thinking, creative storytelling, and commercial acumen. It's a unique opportunity to shape the future of a fast-growing, conscious brand.

Key Responsibilities

Work alongside Loco Love's Founder and CEO to deliver the Brand Vision and Strategy

Create quarterly and annual marketing plans aligned with business objectives and growth targets.

Ensure strategy balances both brand-building and performance-driven marketing initiatives.

Champion the consumer, ensuring our messaging, products, and experiences are deeply resonant.

Campaigns, Storytelling & Content

Lead the development of integrated campaigns across paid, owned, and earned channels.

Drive traffic and sales through our eCommerce store and Byron Bay showroom (DTC channel).

Support wholesale customer growth and sell-through with effective B2B marketing strategies.

Protect and evolve the Loco Love brand identity, tone, and visual language across all touchpoints.

Manage freelancers, agencies, and creative partners to produce cohesive and high-impact content.

Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration

Lead and develop a small but mighty marketing team

Collaborate with Product and Sales to execute successful product launches and seasonal campaigns.

Work cross-functionally to ensure all brand experiences - online and offline - reflect Loco Love's values.

Engage team members as brand ambassadors through education, experiences, and internal storytelling.

Budgeting, Analysis & Insights

Own the marketing budget and allocate resources across content, paid media, and agency partnerships.

Track, analyse, and report on marketing performance; extract insights and optimise future efforts.

Generate accurate forecasts and support data-led decision-making across the business.

Stay ahead of trends in luxury, wellness, food, and conscious consumer behaviour.

What You Bring

10-12+ years of marketing experience, ideally in packaged food, wellness, beauty, or premium lifestyle sectors.

A proven track record in developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns.

Strong experience in eCommerce growth and performance marketing strategies.

Excellent communication skills - both written and visual - with an eye for creative excellence.

Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach and high attention to detail.
A collaborative leader who thrives in cross-functional environments and dynamic teams.

Experience managing budgets, forecasts, and agency relationships.

Passion for wellness, sustainability, and purpose-led branding is highly desirable.
