Byford Tavern is a family-friendly venue, which includes a restaurant, alfresco dining, a bar, and a bottle shop. Our menu focuses on local, quality produce, with a specialty on farm-to-table beef and Australian pub classics.

What the role is about
  • Support the Head and Sous Chef in the day-to-day operations;
  • Ensure high standards of food quality and presentation;
  • Food preparation and presentation;
  • Maintain kitchen hygiene, food safety, and compliance with health regulations;
  • Manage stock levels and assist with ordering ingredients from suppliers;
  • Able to work multiple sections and flexible with hours;
Who are we looking for
  • Proven experience in a similar role (essential);
  • Outstanding attention to detail and presentation skills;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, while maintaining a positive attitude;
  • Strong organisational and time management skills;
  • Food Handlers Supervisor Certificate.
