About Co-Hive

Co-Hive is a purpose-driven and fast-growing organisation based in Alexandria, Sydney, dedicated to supporting young adults with disability aged 17–35 as they transition from school to adult life. In just 18 months, Co-Hive has emerged as a game-changing service — winning "Best New Disability Service" at the Australian Disability Service Awards 2024 and gaining national recognition for doing things differently. Our model is bold, creative, and grounded in real relationships. We co-design every program with participants and their families, and work closely with employers, educators, and community partners to build pathways that truly empower. Our work is guided by the core values of self-determination, inclusion, and possibility.

With strong demand and a growing reputation, Co-Hive is expanding across NSW and beyond. This is a rare opportunity to join a team at the forefront of change and help shape the future of an organisation already making a profound difference in people's lives.

Role & Responsibilities

We're looking for a passionate Program Facilitator to lead one of our 20-week group programs. This role involves designing meaningful learning experiences, inspiring personal growth, and helping participants develop skills to move towards employment, independence, and a fulfilling adult life. You'll work closely with a Program Assistant and be supported by a multidisciplinary team. You'll be guided by the Program Manager and help shape the learning environment at Co-Hive.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Design & Preparation: Plan and structure a 20-week program around clear participant goals and learning outcomes; create engaging, inclusive sessions that combine theory with hands-on experiences; integrate digital tools (e.g., Canva, Google Workspace, AI) to enhance learning; adapt content to diverse needs and support requirements
  • Program Delivery: Deliver high-quality, motivating sessions that promote independence, confidence, and real-world skill development; foster a fun, safe, and collaborative learning environment; use on-site and community-based experiences; promote active participation and peer connection
  • Team Leadership & Collaboration: Lead and mentor the Program Assistant(s); share planning and vision, delegate tasks, provide constructive feedback; collaborate with other facilitators and the Program Manager to deliver high-impact programs; contribute to a positive workplace culture
  • Progress Monitoring & Reporting: Track participant progress using Co-Hive's systems; provide feedback to participants and families; evaluate program effectiveness using data and feedback; maintain documentation to meet reporting and compliance standards

  • Experience delivering group learning or capacity-building programs (ideally for people with disability or in education/community settings)
  • Background in Education or experience as a Program Facilitator
  • Strong digital and planning skills — confident using Google Workspace, Canva, and AI
  • Ability to adapt content and communication to different learning styles
  • Participant-focused mindset that is empathetic, inclusive, and empowering
  • Creative, proactive approach with a commitment to high standards
  • Passion for innovation, inclusion, and lifelong learning

  • Opportunities to co-design and deliver programs aligned with your strengths and passions
  • Make a real difference in people's lives while enjoying the work
  • A workplace that values wellness, flexibility, and professional growth
  • Ongoing training, coaching, and development opportunities
