Location: ACT, QLD, VIC, SA, NSW**
Help shape the future of AI-enabled services in government by guiding ethical, transparent, and human-centred implementations. You'll play a key advisory role supporting the ethical deployment of AI technologies, strengthening enterprise ethics frameworks, and uplifting capability across the organisation. This is an opportunity to contribute to AI systems that reflect public sector values and deliver fair and accountable outcomes.
Key Duties:
- Provide early-stage ethical guidance on AI initiatives and support integration into program design
- Develop and enhance assurance processes to assess and mitigate AI-related ethical risks
- Advise on and strengthen enterprise-wide ethics frameworks and governance processes
- Deliver training and mentoring to uplift ethical literacy across the organisation
Key Criteria:
- Demonstrated experience as an AI or technology ethicist in large, complex environments
- Expertise in AI ethics frameworks, risk assessments, and ethical assurance tools
- Strong track record delivering training, workshops or capability uplift programs
- Proven ability to influence strategic direction and act as an authoritative ethics advisor
