Overview

Global Medics are exclusively partnering with one of the largest Healthcare Providers in Australia for a Consultant/Staff Specialist in General Medicine role based at Griffith Base Hospital, New South Wales.

The Murrumbidgee district is known for natural beauty, including green national parks and rivers. This area offers a relaxed pace of life with a strong sense of community and diverse cultural scene, and is located in the heart of NSW between Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra.

Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist General Medicine services at Griffith Base Hospital (119 beds), collaborating with emergency medicine, critical care, general medicine, surgery, paediatric medicine, oncology and rehabilitation teams as needed.
  • Participate in in-hospital services including Hospital in the Home, and contribute to diagnostic services as applicable (pathology, imaging).
Requirements
  • Fellowship of the relevant Royal Australian Medical College or equivalent.
  • Specialist AHPRA registration or eligible to attain (Substantially Comparable).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Consultant/Staff Specialist in General Medicine.

  • Salary: $251,618 - $354,479 per annum
