Overview

Global Medics is partnering with a dedicated regional health service in southern New South Wales to connect experienced Emergency Medicine specialists with full-time opportunities across a broad and community-focused healthcare network.

A full-time Consultant in Emergency Medicine is sought to deliver high-quality care across emergency departments within a well-established health service in the Murrumbidgee region. This role presents an excellent opportunity to contribute to the delivery of responsive, patient-centred care in both rural and regional settings.

Hospital information

The health network spans over 125,000 square kilometres and includes a mix of base hospitals, district hospitals, multipurpose services, and community health centres. Emergency departments range from busy regional hubs to smaller rural facilities, all supported by integrated care models, strong clinical governance, and local health advisory committees.

Essential criteria
  • Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent
  • Fellowship of the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (FACEM) or equivalent
  • Current registration (or eligibility) with the Medical Board of Australia
