Overview

Global Medics are exclusively partnering with one of the largest Healthcare Providers in Australia for two Consultant/Staff Specialist in Emergency Medicine roles based at Griffith Base Hospital, New South Wales.

The Murrumbidgee district is surrounded by natural beauty, including green national parks and rivers. Griffith Base Hospital is a newly developed 119-bed facility providing specialist services (both resident and visiting) including emergency medicine, critical care, general medicine, surgery, paediatric medicine, oncology, obstetrics, respiratory medicine, renal dialysis, Hospital in the Home and rehabilitation, plus physiotherapy, dietetics, social work, pharmacy, occupational therapy and Aboriginal health. Diagnostic services include pathology, CAT scans, nuclear medicine, ultrasound and general x-ray. Griffith is a vibrant regional city in the Riverina with a multicultural community and a balanced lifestyle.

Salary: $251,618 - $354,479 per annum. There is additional remuneration via penalty loading (after-hours, weekends, public holidays) and TESL entitlements approx. $39,000.

Requirements
  • Fellowship of the relevant Royal Australian Medical College or equivalent
  • Specialist AHPRA registration or eligible to attain (Substantially Comparable)
