Overview

As a Maps Evaluator / Data Analyst at Peroptyx, you will review mapping data for digital mapping applications to validate navigation and ensure accuracy and safety. You will verify business names and opening hours and check distance measurements to support better user experiences.

Responsibilities
  • Review mapping data for digital mapping applications to validate navigation routes.
  • Verify business names, opening hours, and distance estimates between points.
  • Apply research and analytical skills to ensure accuracy and safety of mapping data.
  • Work with flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, from a home office.
Ideal Candidate / Qualifications
  • Fluent in English
  • Excellent research skills
  • Excellent local knowledge of Australia
  • Good understanding of geography and culture of Australia
  • Analytical mindset
  • Must be living in Australia for a minimum of 5 consecutive years
  • Willing to work 10-20 hours per week depending on task availability
  • Good working knowledge of search engines, map applications, and familiarity with social media
  • Ability to learn and apply multiple instructions independently
