We're proud to be the primary partner to a number of WA's construction and resource sector organisations, delivering on business-critical talent solutions. As a result, we are currently recruiting for an Operations Manager on behalf of one of our key clients.

Our client is a well-established civil construction company with a strong presence in the public infrastructure space. Their capabilities span road construction, asphalt paving, drainage, and minor earthworks, servicing both government and private clients across WA and Victoria.

With an expanding footprint and a healthy pipeline of work, this is a newly created leadership opportunity suited to an experienced Project Manager ready to step up, or an established Operations Manager looking to grow with a dynamic and forward-thinking business.

What can you expect in our role :
  • Lead, manage, and execute a variety of civil projects, with a strong focus on roadworks and surfacing
  • Manage project programs and schedules to meet delivery targets
  • Oversee budget performance, forecasting, and financial control measures
  • Manage client relationships, including scope development, pricing, and additional works
  • Administer contracts and manage variations in line with commercial obligations
  • Oversee the procurement and coordination of plant, equipment, and project resources
  • Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental management systems
  • Provide timely reporting, including end-of-month cost reviews and project updates
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, subcontractors, and local communities to deliver best-for-project outcomes
  • Liaise with local authorities, utility providers, and community groups to support smooth project delivery
Your background
  • Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
  • You may be an experienced Project Manager ready to step up, or an established Operations Manager looking to take on new and challenging civil infrastructure projects
  • Proven experience in road construction, surfacing, and traffic management
  • Demonstrated ability to engage and influence a wide range of stakeholders — including clients, subcontractors, councils, and internal teams
  • Strong commercial awareness with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving
