The Kaden Centre is a purpose-built facility providing custom, targeted exercise programs to people living with cancer and chronic conditions. All programs are safely prescribed and supervised by allied health professionals and are tailored to each individual's needs and goals.

At The Kaden Centre we offer:

  • Individualised, evidence-based programs grounded in medical research showing the benefits of targeted exercise, including improved survival and quality of life for cancer patients.
  • Comprehensive assessment and supervision: Each client is assessed by a physiotherapist or exercise physiologist and provided with a personalised program. Ongoing assessments ensure adjustments are made as required.
  • Supportive environment: Clients complete their own programs while exercising alongside others, under the supervision of a physiotherapist, exercise physiologist, or allied health assistant.

Responsibilities

  • Implement evidence-based interventions to guide assessment, treatment, consultancy, referrals and discharge of patients/clients
  • Supervising group-based resistance exercise sessions.
  • Supervising HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) sessions in the perioperative setting.
  • Supporting clients to complete their personalised programs in a safe, positive, and encouraging environment.
  • Collaborating with physiotherapists, exercise physiologists, and allied health assistants to deliver high-quality care

Qualifications

  • A genuine passion for helping people with cancer and chronic illness through exercise.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a commitment to teamwork.
  • New graduates are encouraged to apply and will be supported with supervision and guidance from senior clinicians.
  • Accredited Exercise Physiologist (ESSA membership).
  • Current First Aid & CPR certification.
  • Relevant insurance and Police check (or willingness to obtain).
  • Desirable- availability to cover leave on occasion, on a casual basis.
