The Role
Based in Sydney, we seek a Business Operations Manager to join our finance team. This role ensures smooth operational and financial processes for Val Morgan Digital, acting as the main liaison within the business to ensure accurate reporting, efficient financial operations, and compliance. Responsibilities include managing budgets, vendor relationships, and financial reconciliations to support daily operations and reporting accuracy.
- Coordinate with internal teams and clients as the primary finance contact
- Reconcile sales revenue and generate monthly reports for the sales team
- Work with the Divisional CFO to oversee budgets and ensure spending aligns with forecasts
- Maintain internal systems for payments, reconciliations, and reporting
- Identify variances and suggest strategies to stay within budget
- Allocate funds received from creditors to advertising campaigns
- Reconcile bank accounts accurately
Qualifications and Skills
- Degree in Finance or related field with relevant experience
- Experience managing multiple projects and stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel), Google Suite, and SharePoint
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Results-oriented with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
