About The Position

Pentarch Logistics division provides portside storage, quality control, measurement, and logistics solutions for the export of log and associated wood products within Australia. We are seeking Plant Operators to join our team based in Eden on a Casual basis, involving duties such as receival and processing of whole log products. Shift times start from 6:00am daily at our site on Edrom Road.

Reporting to the Production Manager, key responsibilities include:

1. Operate fixed plant equipment
2. Perform daily machinery and equipment pre-start inspections
3. Assist in maintaining machinery and equipment
4. Maintain site/workplace cleanliness
5. Comply with all safety policies and procedures
6. Manage inventory and data entry

About You

• Strong commitment to safety and quality
• Previous experience in manufacturing or manual handling is desirable
• Positive attitude, reliable, punctual, and focused on quality
• Teamwork skills
• Physically fit and able to handle timber sections manually
