About The Position

Pentarch Logistics division provides portside storage, quality control, measurement, and logistics solutions for the export of log and associated wood products within Australia. We are seeking Plant Operators to join our team based in Eden on a Casual basis, where you will be involved with a range of duties including the receival and processing of whole log products. Please note that shift times start from 6:00am daily at our site based at Edrom Road.

Reporting to the Production Manager, some of your key responsibilities will include:

1. Operate fixed plant equipment
2. Perform daily machinery and equipment pre-start inspections
3. Assist and support in maintaining machinery and equipment
4. Maintain and undertake site/workplace cleaning as required
5. Comply with all company safety policies and procedures
6. Inventory management and data entry

About You

• Strong commitment to safety and quality
• Previous experience in manufacturing or manual handling is highly desirable
• A positive attitude is essential
• You must be reliable, punctual, and have a focus on the quality of your work
• Demonstrated experience of successfully working in a team
• Physically fit and able to manually handle various sized timber sections
