About the role

This role will promote and sell the full range of products and services offered by The Ville Resort-Casino Precinct—including corporate and leisure accommodation, conference and event facilities (MICE: meetings, incentives, conventions, and exhibitions)—across local, regional, interstate, and international markets
Key Accountabilities for this position fall under 3 areas: Financial, Customer & Growth and Organisation.

Key Tasks include:

  • Build and nurture strong strategic relationships that lead to repeat business and valuable referrals with both Corporate, Wholesale & PCO's
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market presence
  • Sales calls to Corporate Accounts, Online Travel Agencies, Travel Management Companies, Travel Agents and Professional Conference Organisers throughout Australia
  • Prepare and negotiate tenders, rates, and terms to secure new business while hosting site inspections and presentations for potential and current clients.
  • Collaborate with operational departments to ensure seamless implementation of new business, fostering excellence in customer service and repeat business opportunities.
  • Maintain relationships and grow revenue with current clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded
  • Maintain The Ville Precinct profile in the marketplace
  • Uphold The Ville's values in every interaction – Vibrant, Integrity, Innovative, Belonging, Excellence and Service with care.
About you
  • Tertiary qualifications in either Marketing or Business discipline
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a hotel or hospitality sales role, ideally with a focus on corporate markets
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building successful client relationships
  • Demonstrated knowledge and sales results in Hotel and MICE markets is paramount
  • Commercially savvy with an understanding of revenue optimisation and market segmentation
  • Experience using CRM systems, (eg Opera, Salesforce, Agency 360, Amadeus, etc)
  • A team player who brings initiative, energy, and a customer first mindset
  • Passionate about hospitality and motivated by service excellence
