Role Overview

This position offers an exciting opportunity for occupational therapists interested in community mental health, particularly with older adults and their families.

The working hours are from 8:30am to 5:00pm. The Bathurst OPMH team includes clinicians from nursing, social work, psychology, OT, and psychiatry, supported by dietetics and other allied health disciplines.

The team values collaboration and maintains a supportive, flexible workplace culture, providing high-quality clinical care. Daily team meetings review new referrals, and clinicians conduct mental health assessments, therapy, and care planning for older adults.

The successful candidate will work closely with the team leader, clinical leader, and be linked with a clinical supervisor and professional mentor. They will undergo comprehensive orientation and develop a personalized professional development plan focusing on core skills and personal growth in OPMH.
