Western Health's Drug Health Services is seeking a motivated AOD Traineeship Coordinator to provide professional guidance and support to trainees in the Alcohol and Other Drugs program. Location and EmploymentFootscray & Sunshine Hospital – Fixed Term, Full-Time (12 months).
Salary: HS4 Level 1-5.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical coordination, guidance, and day-to-day support to AOD trainees
- Oversee project development and implementation of the traineeship program
- Coordinate structured learning opportunities, workshops, and rotations
- Collaborate with stakeholders to design schedules and address trainee needs
- Support access to evidence-based resources and harm reduction approaches
- Experience supporting early career professionals in the AOD or health sector
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Skilled in stakeholder engagement, coordination, and program facilitation
- Knowledge of harm minimisation, relapse prevention, and overdose prevention
- Interest in service planning, project development, and training programs
