CBH is a leader in the Australian grain industry and the country's largest co-operative. Our work has meaning and is creating an exciting future - we're delivering WA's grain to the world. Our advanced logistics network stretches across the State, connecting the growers of WA with our people, and providing opportunities for career growth in different roles and locations.

Ready to make an impact on a global scale with a local company?

We are CBH. We are what you're looking for.

The Role

We are seeking a communications professional who can help to develop and deliver engagement plans and initiatives mainly for CBH Group's Marketing & Trading Division.

Working collaboratively with the Corporate Affairs Team and across the business, you will help to develop and deliver communications and marketing plans for established and expanding areas within CBH, and help shape and strengthen the way we engage with employees, farmers, contractors, marketers and the general public.

No two days are the same in this dynamic environment where your projects can range from producing a marketing campaign to travelling regionally to produce a video to developing collateral for a corporate event.

Located at the CBH Head Office in Perth's CBD, this is full-time fixed term opportunity until February 2027, and will suit a communications professional looking to build their in-house communications and marketing experience and/or is interested in branching out into a different sector.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and delivering communications and marketing initiatives to farmers, employees and customers
  • Developing engaging content for the website, intranet, presentations, speeches and other corporate communications channels
  • Provide advice to senior leaders on effective communications on a range of matters including farmer relations, media relations and employee engagement activities
  • Support media relations and social media activities including preparing media statements and responses
  • Provide support when required for other areas of the Corporate Affairs team, including the delivery of grower focused and corporate events

About You:

  • A communications all-rounder with particular experience delivering integrated marketing campaigns or initiatives that achieves results
  • Excellent communication and writing skills in marketing and employee communications
  • An ability to work collaboratively and quickly establish effective working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
  • A degree in communications, marketing, journalism or similar with at least 5 years' experience in a related work environment
  • Experience with the agricultural industry will be highly regarded

Why work with CBH?

Play a critical role in moving WA's grain from paddocks to ports, and on to countries all around the world. With an advanced logistics network and grain trading on a global level, we provide growers with first-class representation in the world's food supply chain.
