About Us:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced People and Culture Adviser to help foster a positive, inclusive, and compliant work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement strategies to promote a positive workplace culture and employee engagement.

End to end recruitment

Facilitating onboarding, orientations and off boarding processes

Provide guidance on HR policies, staff relations, and workplace wellbeing initiatives.

Developing employment contracts

Provide advice around Work, Health and Safety matters

Assist with training and development opportunities

Support recruitment, onboarding, and retention efforts.

Handle employee relations, including conflict resolution and performance management.

Advise on diversity, inclusion, and equal opportunity practices.

Ensure compliance with employment laws, health and safety standards, and union policies.

Conduct staff training and professional development programs.

Maintain accurate and confidential HR records.

Process staff payroll

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organisational Development, or related field; postgraduate qualification preferred.

Proven experience of 5 years in HR, employee relations, or people and culture roles, preferably within a union, healthcare, or non-profit sector.

Strong understanding of employment law and workplace best practices.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the organisation.

Proactive problem-solver with a commitment to diversity and inclusion.
