The RoleMeekatharra DHS is seeking an outstanding and enthusiastic Primary Teacher to join our vibrant school community in a permanent capacity. This opportunity is open to both recent graduates and experienced teachers passionate about making a difference in young learners' lives.

- Be able to differentiate the curriculum to cater to various learning needs, using High Impact Teaching Strategies to maximize student engagement and achievement.

- Establish and maintain a safe, orderly, and learning-focused classroom using whole-school behaviour management approaches.
- Be committed to ongoing professional growth and open to feedback, coaching, and mentorship opportunities provided by the school.

Teachers and school administrators employed at Meekatharra DHS in 2025 are eligible to receive a temporary $8,500 (gross, to be adjusted for FTE and tenure). This payment is distributed with a portion at commencement and the remainder at the end of the school year, contingent upon employment until year's end.
The temporary ARI payment is in addition to other incentives that may apply in this school.

Eligible teachers in North or South Education Regions may opt for a 3-year mobility appointment, with a right of return to their original position after the term. Teachers can choose to transfer permanently into this school at the end of the mobility period.
