One of Australia's leading hospitality organisations, with an global presence, is on the hunt for an ambitious Payroll Officer. Full-function experience is not required, as they love to train and develop up and coming payroll talent

They are after 1-2 years payroll exp. someone who has a bright and enthusiastic personality, eager to learn and confident in their abilities - they hire for attitude and will offer training if you have gaps in your payroll knowledge.

NUTS & BOLTS:
  • Preparation and processing of weekly and fortnightly payrolls
  • Produce Pay Advices each period
  • Lodge STP file for each pay frequency
  • Produce & distribute monthly Significant Date Reports by pay frequency
  • Produce weekly Leave Liability Reports
  • Complete 'End of Pay' process
  • Adhere to Company audit requirements ensuring supporting documentation is held for any change to employee Masterfile and miscellaneous payments and approved by Supervisor or Manager before actioned
  • Compliance with all Company policies and values
  • Minimise risk of incorrect payments & processing errors and ensure adherence to legislation & company policies

YOUR REQUIREMENTS:
  • 1-2 years Aus payroll processing experience
  • Must have full permanent working rights for Australia
  • Have intermediate Excel skills
  • Exposure to awards employees
  • Does not need full function payroll (Training and guidance for any gaps)
