Working Arrangements: The preferred work location is Canberra. The Labour Hire Worker is required to work from the applicable office at least 2 days per week. A Working from Home Agreement must be formalised with the Buyer representative before commencing flexible work arrangements. The Labour Hire Worker must adhere to the annual closedown as defined in the Buyers Enterprise Agreement and public holidays.

Maximum Hours: 40 hours per week

Job Details

We are looking for an experienced organisational change management (OCM) and communication professional who is passionate about contributing and supporting successful delivery across a range of projects in our IT Division. The role provides the opportunity to influence and shape strategic approaches to communicating change for the IT Division and to support a number of projects through targeted communication and change activities.

Key duties and responsibilities:

  1. Advise and support stakeholders including Executive/Senior Executive staff, leadership and project teams to maximise adoption of new or changed technologies
  2. Create and execute communication and training plans to enable smooth implementation of change
  3. Track progress and reporting
  4. Lead Program change activities including communication, engagements, capability uplift, developing guidance materials etc.
  5. Collaborate with Projects, IT Division and business areas to engage stakeholders through the change process
  6. Create and distribute Program-wide communications, such as presentations, talking points, updates, and announcements
  7. Develop training and support materials to build capability and readiness
  8. Experience with Technology program implementations especially M365, Cloud, ServiceNow
  9. Proficiency in visual communications and data analysis
  10. Excellent communication skills and relationship-building
  11. Exceptional problem-solving and analytical thinking
  12. Strong organisational, project, and time management skills
  13. Identify and implement continuous improvement ideas
  14. Remediate technical, cultural or process-related barriers to IT solution adoption
  15. Consult across the Department to develop User Journey maps and use cases

The seller must ensure that the Labour Hire worker facilitates an effective transfer of skills and knowledge to enable full use of services, deliverables and associated documents.

Essential Criteria

  1. Knowledge of/experience in and accreditation in change management methodologies such as PROSCI will be highly regarded.
  2. Delivery of Change initiatives in alignment with the Departments Enterprise Change Management Framework (Attachment A).
  3. Familiarity with better practice M365 implementation and adoption approaches such as those contemplated in Microsofts Modern Collaboration Architecture (MOCA) and M365 Adoption White Papers
  4. Familiarity with better practice for Cloud implementation and adoption approaches for Azure, AWS and Google.
  5. Familiarity with better practice for ServiceNow implementation and adoption approaches

Desirable Criteria

  1. Familiarity with Change models or Frameworks similar to those implemented under the Departments Enterprise Change Management Framework with demonstrated capacity to deliver the requirements.
  2. Candidates must provide a minimum of 2 referees. Referee checks will only be performed for candidates shortlisted for interview.
