The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a Receptionist to join our supportive and friendly team based in the Sydney CBD office on a full time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate who is looking for a varied role in a supportive environment.You will have many opportunities to increase your skill base and knowledge while working with and supporting a close-knit, supportive team.

As first point of contact for our clients and visitors, you will be responsible for creating first-rate initial impressions and your daily reception administration support duties will include:

  • Expedient answering and re-directing of incoming calls;
  • Managing, setting up and clearing meeting rooms;
  • Greeting and attending to clients and mediation participants;
  • Running errands, such as posting the mail, banking, delivering documents and court filings;
  • Undertaking assorted administrative tasks relating to the reception area such as filing; printing, copying and arranging couriers;
  • General administrative support to the legal team; and
  • Assistance with special events.

Desired skills, attributes and experience

  • Competence in MS Office packages;
  • A high standard of personal grooming and professional presentation;
  • Well-spoken with a pleasant phone manner;
  • A very high standard of spoken oral and written English;
  • A willingness to learn and an attitude that no job is too small;
  • Ability to multitask efficiently and to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines;
  • Ability to work unsupervised as well as with the team; and
  • Ideally, a minimum of one (1) year's office experience.
