Core Responsibilities & Duties
- Plan and implement a range of teaching programs or courses of study;
- Competent in the use of ICT learning platforms, in particular, Canvas;
- Have the content knowledge and pedagogical practice to engage students in online learning
- Demonstrate a commitment to improving professional practice through coaching and professional development
- Provide a child-safe environment in accordance with the child-safe standards;
- Participate in child safety and wellbeing induction and training provided by the school and always follow the school's child safety and wellbeing policies and procedures;
- Act in accordance with our Child Safety Code of Conduct;
- Identify and raise concerns about child safety issues in accordance with our Child Safety Responding and Reporting Obligations Policy and Procedures, including following the Four Critical Actions for Schools;
- Ensure students' views are taken seriously and their voices are heard about decisions that affect their lives;
- Model and promote the vision and values of the school;
- Teach an area of the curriculum to senior year levels and develop online VCE courses for delivery;
- Maintain records of class attendance and record student progress;
- Implement effective student management consistent with the school's strategic plan;
- Attend and participate in staff meetings as required;
- Be actively involved in regular staff devotions and prayer
Applications are sought from suitably qualified and experienced teachers who are passionate about teaching in an online environment. We are seeking a full-time Maths teacher who will deliver lessons to students from Years 7-11 in 2026. The opportunity to build online VCE and VCE Vocational Major courses for delivery in 2025 for 2026 implementation also exists.
- Please note that online teachers are required to work from our Casey office currently in Skye.

Qualifications
- Evidence of the right to work in Australia
- Proof of identity
- Recognised teaching qualification
- Clearance status of the Working with Children Check (where applicable)
- Registered with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT)
- Statements of service from previous child-connected roles
- References from previous child-connected roles
- Be a committed Christian, comfortable with sharing your faith
- Be committed to improving student academic outcomes
- Have high expectations for what students are capable of, both academically and behaviourally
- Relate well to staff, students and parents.
- Have a servant heart
- Have demonstrated excellent organisational skills
- Be able to display the capacity to improve student learning outcomes
- Be able to demonstrate excellent teaching as described by the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers
- Be able to receive feedback on your teaching and implement changes
- Be able to effectively plan for, collect and analyse educational data, then devise appropriate strategies and interventions to improve student outcomes.
