About the role
We are currently looking for a capable and experienced SeniorAssociate with 5+ years' post qualification experience to join theReal Estate & Construction team in our growing Canberraoffice.
This is a great opportunity to develop your practice further andjoin a supportive and enthusiastic two partner team that workacross both Real Estate and Construction matters. We are notonly looking for someone who is wanting to work collaborativelywith both the partner and other team members but who is focused onensuring best practice delivery of a range of matters forgovernment and private sector clients. We also want thatperson to oversee the work of junior members of the team and takeon responsibility for managing client relationships and theirongoing work needs.

About you
It is a strong preference that you have property experienceeither in the ACT or NSW.
We are looking for a practitioner who ideally has experience inthe following areas:
- Property transactional work including acquisitions anddisposals
- Commercial and office leasing
- Property advisory
- Planning and environment regulation and approvals
- Procurement of property and construction related goods andservices
- Experience advising on construction, planning law andprocurement matters is welcomed but not essential
- Experience working on advising government is highlyregarded
You must be enthusiastic and willing to work on a range ofmatters, have a keen eye for detail, good communication andinterpersonal skills and can demonstrate sound mattermanagement.
