Your New Role

The Senior Advice Assurance Specialist plays a pivotalrole in managing Trustee administration services provided to Financial Advisers.This includes conducting Advice Audit reviews for all registered Advisers,ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures and externalregulations, while supporting the broader Assurance function across the fund atAware Super. The role also acts as a point of escalation for queries fortechnical support from various internal teams where key objectives are met andupholding the company's values. In addition you will:
  • Be directly responsible for managing day to day and key activities for Trustee Advice Assurance and Monitoring;
  • Coordinate and develop compliance processes, policies and providing recommendations; and
  • Deliver technical support and escalations andfollowing processes of risk and compliance.

  • Experience working in Financial Advice or an Advice Assurance role;
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent work experience;
  • RG146 compliant in superannuation is required;
  • Demonstrated attention to detail, particularly in relation to regulatory obligations;
  • Report on and interpret data and conduct analysis to improve performance and increase efficiencies;
  • Ability to work co-operatively in a team environment and liaise with a diverse range of people- internally and externally; and
  • You are balanced in accepting risk in any decision you face. You are curious to understand risk context and choose to speak up as we simplify, learn and grow.
