We are inviting applications Civil Engineers with 5+ years of experience, ideally at the Senior to Associate level. Experience in the design of Australian water and wastewater infrastructure projects is essential. While we may prioritise candidates with a consulting background, all applications are welcomed.
About The Team And The Role
The Water Utilities team in QLD stands out for its technical excellence and the long tenure and innovative mindsets of its employees. They design comprehensive and sustainable solutions, engineering projects that will support societal growth for generations to come.
The Key Responsibilities Of The Role Include
- Civil design development and delivery through the full spectrum of the project life cycle to ensure work output is of a technically high standard.
- Production and review of concise high-quality technical documentation
- Design and/or design management of a range of projects or program work packages
- Actively assisting colleagues in achieving improved client feedback results, enhance satisfaction, and exceed client expectations.
- Assisting with the preparation and coordination of high-quality proposals and pursuits.
- Working collaboratively with a team on large-scale multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects and programs.
- Bachelor's Degree in civil engineering or equivalent.
- Ideally 6 years + experience in a consultancy environment.
- Experience in detailed design of water and wastewater infrastructure projects
- Experience in the design management of water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
- Good knowledge of relevant industry related Australian Standards and WSAA codes would be advantageous.
- Chartered Engineer or actively working towards chartered status would be advantageous
- Use and understanding of Civil 3D modelling software would be advantageous.
- Understanding of related safety in design practices and processes.
- Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively.
- Experience in Design and Construction projects would be advantageous.
