Overview

Macmahon is seeking a Maintenance Planner in Perth, Western Australia. The role involves developing and maintaining long-term component forecasts, planning and scheduling maintenance for registerable plant in line with Australian WHS regulations, and coordinating with external providers while managing component BOMs to support planning and inventory.

About the role

FIFO from Perth or Kalgoorlie. 8/6 roster. Exciting growth phase with excellent career progression opportunities. Excellent camp facilities at the Tropicana Gold Mine camp with permanent, ensuited rooms.

About you
  • Experience in underground plant maintenance
  • Experience in planning and scheduling
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate with both workshop and management personnel
  • Strong computer skills with the ability to present plans and results in various MS formats
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to successfully manage fluctuating workloads and prioritise accordingly
  • Previous experience using OEM parts systems with Sandvik, Volvo, Toyota
  • Knowledge of mobile equipment and processes would be regarded favourably
