Overview

Certificate III Business Traineeship – Reception/Administration (Rooty Hill) at Australian Training Company. Office Allrounder to participate in a full-time business traineeship while working in a busy reception/administration environment in a Spanish speaking nursing home at Rooty Hill. Bilingual in English & Spanish essential.

Responsibilities
  • Provide support to the Administration team and perform other ad-hoc tasks as required.
  • Be the front of the organization to visitors, family members, contractors and other persons entering the facility.
  • Maintain basic reception duties including answering the telephone, filing, typing and assisting with basic resident needs in coordination with Care Manager and floor staff.
  • Actively develop and promote the organisation's culture; ensure interactions, documentation and communication support the stated Mission, Vision & Values.
  • Data entry
  • Compose and transcribe routine correspondence, application forms, letters and other necessary documents
  • Maintenance and development of continuous improvement log under management supervision
  • Operate office equipment including computers, printers and photocopier
  • Assist Bookkeeper and/or Operations Manager with monitoring of all supplies
  • Maintain records of continuous improvement
  • Maintenance and development of compliance reports, graphs and benchmarking under management supervision
  • Relief receptionist
  • Establish and maintain files, and retrieve files as requested
  • Assist in the upkeep of company website and internal TV programming
  • Promote Occupational Health, Safety and Injury management policies and procedures; participate in protecting health and safety of self and colleagues; contribute to a safe environment for staff, patients and visitors
  • Participate in the workplace injury management program
Requirements
  • Bilingual in English & Spanish essential
  • Experience in administration, retail or hospitality with customer service and multitasking
  • Self-motivated and willing to study a nationally accredited qualification (Certificate III in Business) while working a 38-hour week (3 hours per week allocated for online study)
  • Must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident
  • Provide National Police check
  • Covid-19 vaccination
Details

Availability 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday.

Wage in accordance with the National Training Wage Award (depends on highest level of secondary education completed and years since completing).
