Overview

Electrical Design Engineer & Project Manager role at Pro-Built Control. This role blends hands-on design expertise with project leadership and client engagement. If you know your way around switch boards, automation control, and project delivery, this could be your next step.

The opportunity

  • Lead complex designs - Low-voltage systems, automation control, and custom solutions that comply with Australian and client standards.
  • Own project delivery - From scoping and CAD drawings to procurement, installation, and functional testing.
  • Bridge technical and commercial - Support the sales process, review site documentation, and ensure solutions are practical, accurate, and profitable.
  • Drive results on-site - Provide technical support, oversee testing, and resolve challenges quickly.

You bring:

  • Proven experience in electrical design, automation control, and project management.
  • Strong knowledge of LV power distribution, MCCs, and industry standards.
  • Proficiency in CAD, project management, and problem-solving.
  • A Bachelor of Engineering (or equivalent), Registered with Engineers Australia (or equivalent).

This is more than a desk role - it's about being at the centre of design, delivery, and client trust.
