Role: Accounts Receivable Officer. Location: Melbourne, Victoria, Australia (CBD office).

Responsibilities
  • Following up on overdue accounts via calls and emails.
  • Monitoring and managing client payment arrangements.
  • Resolving client queries.
  • Allocating payments and reconciling accounts accurately.
  • Reviewing and processing of credit notes, debtor and small balances write-offs.
  • Maintaining detailed and accurate records of collection activities and client communications.
  • Sending out monthly debtor statements.
  • Assisting the finance team with finance-related duties as required.
About you

The ideal candidate will have some experience in accounts receivable in a corporate or professional services environment. However, if you have the hunger and willingness to learn, full training and mentoring is provided.

Qualifications
  • Similar experience (1-2 years) in an accounts receivable or finance role gained within a corporate environment
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to build strong relationships.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (knowledge of Aderant Expert is a bonus).
  • A client-focused, goal-driven approach with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
