Security Technician Job Responsibilities:

  • Certified in either Lenel or Genetec
  • Ideally should have programming experience
  • Ability to work with access control systems
  • Installing security devices (card readers, mag locks, door strikes, REXs, motion detectors, CCTV cameras, etc.)
  • Pulling and terminating cables
  • Working in commercial environments

The ideal Security Technician candidate will possess the following skills:

  • Camera systems – analog and digital, coax and cast 6-based, VMS
  • Access control – equipment installation and relay logic
  • Intrusion/Security systems
