    We're looking for a part-time Safety Officer to support our clients' busy manufacturing site, working 2–3 days per week. This is a hands-on role where you'll work closely with workers on the floor while also ensuring compliance with WHS standards and company requirements.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Conduct workplace inspections and hazard identification.
    • Lead risk assessments and recommend practical control measures.
    • Investigate incidents, prepare reports and follow through on corrective actions.
    • Deliver toolbox talks, inductions and safety training sessions.
    • Monitor and review safe work procedures and permits to work.
    • Maintain WHS records, registers and compliance documentation.
    • Support the rollout of safety initiatives and improvement projects.
    • Coach and engage supervisors and employees to strengthen safety culture.
    About You
    • Cert IV in Work Health & Safety (or working towards).
    • Some experience in safety, ideally in manufacturing or similar.
    • Understanding of WHS legislation and basic compliance requirements.
    • Comfortable engaging with people on the floor and building relationships.
    • Keen to learn, organised and proactive in spotting risks.
