Overview

M365 Specialist / Administrator – 6 Month Contract

We are looking for an experienced M365 Specialist / Administrator to join on a 6-month contract. The focus will be on supporting MS Teams and Microsoft Co-Pilot rollouts, while ensuring these platforms are well-managed, secure, and fully embedded into day-to-day operations. This role will suit someone who has deep hands-on experience across Microsoft 365 administration, particularly in licensing, configuration, security, and policy management. You will work alongside a project team delivering deployments but will also play a key role in ensuring the environment is stable, secure, and fit for long-term business needs.

Responsibilities
  • Act as the subject matter expert for MS Teams and Microsoft Co-Pilot
  • Administer licensing, configuration, governance, and compliance across M365 services
  • Stabilise operations and ensure secure, reliable platform performance
  • Partner with the project team to deliver successful rollouts and smooth user adoption
  • Translate business and user requirements into effective configuration and policy settings
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve automation, governance, and security
  • Troubleshoot issues and provide timely resolution to maintain service stability
  • Create clear documentation, guides, and knowledge transfer materials for ongoing support
Skills & Experience
  • Strong, hands-on expertise administering Microsoft 365, with proven focus on Teams and Co-Pilot
  • Solid understanding of M365 licensing, governance, compliance, and cybersecurity
  • Experience with other M365 services (Intune, SharePoint, Entra ID/Azure AD) is highly regarded
  • Scripting/automation skills (PowerShell preferred)
  • Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills
  • Ability to work across project and operational teams, balancing delivery with stability
  • Strong documentation and stakeholder engagement skills
