Overview

At Randstad Defence, we're proud to be partnering with Electro Optic Systems (EOS)—a leading force in the design, development, and manufacturing of advanced systems— currently seeking a Project Manager to join their Space team. The candidate must be an Australian citizen and be eligible for a security clearance.



Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the definition and management of assigned projects in accordance with contracted requirements and EOS Space Systems procedures.
  • Oversight of project resources to ensure compliance to requirements while managing cost and schedule performance.
  • Identify, anticipate, and respond to stakeholders in the delivery of EOS Space Systems projects.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and be the main point of contact for assigned projects.
  • Report on assigned project status, opportunities, and risks to EOS Space Systems senior management periodically, as contracts and internal communication patterns require.
  • Support a work environment that complies with company policies and procedures.


Experience
  • You are an experienced Project Manager with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex defence projects.
  • Strong understanding of formal project management methodologies and tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline.
  • Previous experience managing projects with the Department of Defence and/ or Defence prime contractors.
  • Ability to multitask and manage several projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of engineering will be highly regarded.
  • You are able to work 5 days in the office.
