We are currently seeking Expressions of Interest for experienced Senior Procurement Officers to contribute to the delivery of key programs through effective procurement support. These roles offer the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment where your expertise will help shape procurement practices across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with project managers to develop market approaches and review procurement documentation for a major program.
  • Support the rollout of the TechnologyOne Finance System Sourcing Module to enhance procurement processes.
  • Provide practical guidance to staff on conducting procurements in line with the Commonwealth Procurement Framework.
  • Act as a first point of contact for the TechnologyOne contracts module, assisting staff with contract entry and maintenance.
  • Monitor procurement and contract activities, ensuring compliance through regular checks and system oversight.
  • Prepare contract notices for AusTender, maintain internal records, and ensure timely reporting to meet regulatory requirements.
  • Extract and analyse procurement data to support internal reporting, budgeting, and parliamentary reporting.
  • Stay informed of changes to procurement frameworks and apply this knowledge to support business needs.
  • Work closely with the Assistant Director of Procurement on complex issues and contribute to ongoing process improvements.

What You'll Bring:

  • Solid understanding of the Commonwealth Procurement Framework
  • Experience with procurement systems (TechnologyOne experience highly regarded)
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
