Overview

Position

We are seeking an enthusiastic library assistant to join our Library & Information Services team on a permanent part-time basis. As part of the wider team, you will provide support for the Teacher Librarian on duty after hours and perform various tasks such as shelving, circulation of resources and creating displays. This unique opportunity will cover the School's Academic and Cultural Life. No two days will be the same in this varied position.

Hours

This role is offered on a term-time only basis and hours as set out below:

  • Monday-Thursday: 4:00pm–8:00pm
  • Friday: 1:30pm–5:30pm

To be successful in this role
  • Be reliable, organised, and detail-oriented
  • Engage confidently and positively with teenagers
  • Work well both independently and as part of a team
  • Be flexible and able to manage routine tasks with initiative
  • Hold a current Working with Children Check and First Aid/CPR accreditation

Members of the school teaching and support staff are encouraged to attend School Chapel services and are expected to actively support the School's Christian Ethos.
