Responsibilities
  • Under supervision of a Registered Nurse, participate in the provision of safe, compassionate, person-centred care in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary health care team to achieve quality care outcomes for patients and clients.
  • Develop your skills and progress your career by working across a wide stream of specialties in a smaller, rural hospital. Excellent training and education opportunities to advance your nursing skills.

  • Current Health Service Assistant Certificate III (Acute Care).
  • Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills within a multidisciplinary team and ability to document every occasion of service accurately and timely.
  • Experience in providing quality, efficient, person-centred care within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Ability to work in accordance with Far West LHD and NSW Ministry of Health policies and procedures.
  • Clear understanding that tasks and clinical practice are delegated and supervised by the Registered Nurse at all times.
