Responsibilities
  • Under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, provide safe, compassionate, person-centred care in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary health care team to achieve quality care outcomes for patients and clients.
  • Work within own scope of practice and seek support, learning and education where required.

  • Current Endorsed Enrolled Nurse registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Demonstrated ability to apply professional and ethical boundaries in a multidisciplinary team.

  • Demonstrated capacity to identify and resolve conflict and manage emotional responses professionally.
  • Commitment to work with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients, families and employees to improve health outcomes.
  • Participation in ongoing professional development and willingness to share expertise with colleagues.
  • Understanding of evidence-based practice and its impact on practice and policy.
