We are seeking individuals with a professional background in Psychology or Rehabilitation Counselling (Bachelor in Psychology - Honours) interested in working in the Occupational Rehabilitation sector and being part of our tight-knit team in Brisbane, QLD.

In this diverse role, you will enjoy the flexibility and autonomy to manage your own day. You will have the support of a strong, close team of healthcare professionals with the backing of a global corporate infrastructure. Providing occupational rehabilitation services to clients with physical and psychological conditions, supporting them to achieve return-to-health and return-to-work outcomes.

Your duties will include:

• Case management (caseloads are manageable, with support from Rehabilitation Assistants to alleviate administrative tasks)
• Applying your clinical knowledge to improve return to work outcomes
• Working with employers and employees to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs
• Collaborating with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals
• Working across schemes such as workers compensation, third-party, life insurance, etc.
• Assisting clients with injuries or health conditions to achieve recovery and return-to-work outcomes
• Conducting Vocational Assessments to identify suitable job options, using clinical skills to match options with client capabilities, and providing injury prevention and management services

Ideal candidates will have:

• Tertiary qualifications in Psychology or Rehabilitation Counselling
• Acceptance of applications with a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) and support for obtaining membership and supervision for full ASORC Membership
• Current General or Provisional AHPRA registration or Full ASORC Membership
• Experience in Occupational Rehabilitation (highly regarded)
• Excellent communication skills
• Compassion, kindness, and empathy
• Strong time management skills
• A current QLD Driver's License and access to own car with comprehensive insurance
