Overview

Executive - Financial Control role at Macquarie Group. You will be part of the Financial Control team, supporting end-to-end financial control for Macquarie's Banking and Financial Services business, including Personal Banking, Business Banking, Payments and Deposits and Wealth.

What role will you play?

You will be responsible for the business balance sheet and profit and loss activities, including General Ledger close activities, accuracy of financial reporting, and understanding key controls and judgements. You will provide technical accounting support for new business initiatives (e.g., new products or features) and have the opportunity to implement and monitor the financial control framework.

What You Offer
  • Tertiary degree in accounting or similar; CA/CPA qualified
  • Experience within a financial control position
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills
  • Previous experience in financial services is valuable
  • Technical accounting expertise and/or ability to work in a large, operationally complex environment
