Are you passionate about the insurance industry and thrive on analysing risks? We're seeking an Underwriting Assistant to work closely with our underwriters to prepare underwriting files and tools for quoting, in addition to communicating upcoming deadlines with brokers and ensuring accounts are booked into the system promptly.

But first and foremost, we are looking for someone who can carry out the below responsibilities:

  • Accurate and timely processing of underwriting transactions.
  • New business & renewal policy account reconciliation tasks.
  • Review and action tasks for policy management
  • Preparation of policy information.
  • Handling of general phone enquiries as required.
  • Develop and maintenance of strong business relationships with our partners.

We are looking for someone who has perhaps worked in the insurance industry and has an understanding of underwriting and would like to grow their career and challenge themselves in this field. This position would suit someone who has strong analytical skills, attention to detail who would like a clear career path in the insurance industry.

Additionally, the following experience would be highly advantageous:

  • Industry and/or field experience & qualifications insurance, financial service & customer service experience
  • Relationship building
  • Results orientated
