Overview

Extend, part of The Extend Group, is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated OSHC Coordinator on a casual contract to join our teams across Beverley, Strathalbyn, and surrounding areas (various school locations) for our Spring Vacation Care program running from 29 September to 13 October. Bring your energy, leadership, and passion for working with children, and help us create a fun, safe, and memorable holiday care experience. If you are available during the school term, there is also potential for ongoing work in our term-time programs. We are serious about safety and standards, but never at the cost of joy. Our teams laugh, share, and support each other because respect is non-negotiable.

Compensation: $37 - $43 Per Hour + Superannuation. Get paid more Earn an extra 10% above award with the Workers Retention Payment.

Location: Beverley, Strathalbyn and surrounding areas (various school locations)

Schedule: Spring Vacation Care program (29 September – 13 October); up to 6-hour shifts during school holidays; Monday to Friday (preferred availability - 5 days per week). Potential for ongoing term-time work.

What you'll do
  • Lead the day-to-day operations of the OSHC service
  • Develop, plan, and deliver daily quality activities for children that are safe, fun, stimulating, and carry educational value
  • Maintain a strong focus on child safety, supervision, and mandatory reporting
  • Prepare and serve healthy food options
  • Create an engaging and happy environment for children
  • Build meaningful relationships with colleagues, children, families, school leaders, and the school community
What you'll need
  • Diploma or Bachelor's in Children's Services, Early Childhood, School Aged Care or equivalent
  • A current Employee Working with Children Checks (or willingness to obtain)
  • First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma Management Training (or willingness to obtain)
  • Child Protection Training Certificate (RRHAN-EC) (or willingness to obtain)
