About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Team Leader to join our manufacturing team at our Stapylton Cans Plant. This is a full-time permanent role on a rotating roster, with overtime available.

  • 12-hour shifts, Day - 6am – 6pm and Night - 6pm – 6am.
  • Weekends and Public Holidays as part of roster paid at penalty rates.

Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, you'll play a vital role in keeping our plant running smoothly and safely.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operating production machinery, alongside the production team.
  • Supervising the production team on shift, including 3 tradespeople.
  • Dealing with production issues and escalating as required.
  • Fostering a great work culture and team environment.
  • Contribute to project work, including installation and maintenance of machinery and equipment.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing.

What You'll Bring

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in leadership role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Background in Food, FMCG or packaging environment preferred.
  • Able to deal well under pressure and manage competing demands.
  • Experience in reporting, documentation and compliance.
  • A proactive attitude and commitment to safety.
