Our Personal & Wellbeing Carers
At Infinite Care, we pride ourselves on providing industry-leading resident care that encourages independence. Our safety-first workplace ensures all employees work in a secure environment. Resident Carers can work across 7 days, with shifts in the morning, afternoon, and night. We offer specialized shifts in strength & conditioning physiotherapy, 1:1 support, memory support, engagement and wellbeing, and medication management, with in-house training and buddy systems.
This role, based at Tweed Aged Care Home | Northern Rivers NSW & Gold Coast QLD, involves working closely with nursing, hospitality, and resident engagement teams to deliver timely and compassionate care. The attached position description details specific duties and responsibilities.
About You
At Infinite Care, we hire for heart. Our ideal candidates are empathetic, possess a strong work ethic, and are passionate about making a difference to the elderly. Ideally, you have recently graduated with a Diploma of Nursing or are a second-year Bachelor of Nursing student with your first-year placement completed. You should be able to think on your feet, communicate effectively, build rapport, and maintain professional relationships with residents and colleagues. Additionally, you should:
- Have excellent safety awareness to prevent residents from tripping, falling, or injuring themselves
- Possess a positive teamwork attitude, be a trusted co-worker, manage time effectively (including handovers), and follow safety procedures
- Be passionate about a career in aged care and committed to delivering quality care services daily
- Have great communication skills to engage with elderly residents in a calm, patient, and empathetic manner
- Hold a Certificate III in Individual Support or other relevant healthcare qualifications, including Nursing degree or Diploma of Nursing
- Possess NDIS Workers Screening Clearance or be willing to obtain it
Our care roles are physically demanding, requiring bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, and squatting to perform duties safely. All candidates must complete an online medical assessment to ensure safety standards are met.
