Principal Support Specialist

This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our school's success by providing professional administrative support to the Principal.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience as an Executive Assistant to a senior leader and possess strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to deal with confidential information discreetly.

Key responsibilities include organising events, functions and meetings, preparing reports, presentations, correspondence, memos, summaries, maintaining relevant databases and systems management, and providing administration support to other areas of the school as required.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as an Executive Assistant to a Principal, CEO, General Manager or similar
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to deal with confidential information discreetly
  • Advanced skills in all Microsoft applications and the ability to learn new systems in a timely manner
  • Excellent time management including the ability to prioritise work and new situations as they occur
  • Ability to work well under pressure, managing conflicting priorities at one time
  • Well organised with a flexible approach and can-do attitude
  • Able to use initiative and judgment in potentially complex, confidential situations
