Our Certificate IV in Information Technology was recently launched and has proven popular, with student numbers continuing to grow. We're committed to delivering an outstanding learner experience. We're seeking a qualified Information Technology Subject Matter Expert to review and validate assessment materials, ensure compliance, and implement improvements to maximize student success.
This is a per-piece contract role. Each module validation is paid at $400, with each review expected to take between 4–8 hours. Future opportunities for contract assessment work may arise as the program expands (optional).
Responsibilities include:
- Review and validate assessment materials for Certificate IV in IT modules.
- Ensure assessments meet ASQA and compliance standards.
- Verify that assessment tasks align with learning content.
- Assess student usability, ensuring clarity, practicality, and accessibility of tasks.
- Provide actionable recommendations for improvements.
- Collaborate with Product and Learning Design teams to update materials.
Qualifications and experience required:
- TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent).
- Relevant IT qualifications (minimum Certificate IV in IT, higher preferred).
- Current industry knowledge and experience in IT.
- Experience in teaching and/or assessment within vocational education.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
