About The RoleHume Anglican Grammar acknowledges the critical role of school leaders in developing a positive culture across the school community. The Subject Coordinator leads the scope and sequence of the academic program and provides expert advice to teachers within their area of responsibility. They guide the delivery of a relevant, stimulating, and effective teaching program, promote a safe and inspiring environment, and uphold the School's philosophy, policies, and procedures.
The Subject Coordinator is a respected model teacher who demonstrates innovative practice, mentors teachers, and collaborates with colleagues to improve educational outcomes for all students. They work with the Head of Teaching and Learning, the Director of Teaching and Learning, Heads of Faculty, and the Curriculum Committee, contributing to strategic development of Teaching and Learning across the School. This is a 1.0 FTE ongoing role with a fixed-term leadership component, commencing 27 January 2026 and concluding 19 January 2029. The position is based at the Donnybrook campus and includes a leadership allowance at level 2 with a 0.15 time release.
Requirements for The Role- Bachelor of Education degree or higher
- Current registration, or immediate eligibility for registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching
