Design and Events Coordinator

We're seeking a self-motivated and customer focused Design and Events Coordinator to join our Brickworks Design Studio in Adelaide, SA.

Reporting to the Design Studio Manager, you will be responsible for influencing the long-term sustainable growth of the Brickworks Building Products group by facilitating stylish events where customers and staff can experience Brickworks products and service in a safe and fun environment.

Duties include but are not limited to:
  1. Generate opportunities for events held by industry partners at the Design Studio.
  2. Establish and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  3. Provide exceptional service to retail customers, converting enquiries to sales via Point-of-Sale system.
  4. Carry out colour consultations with project builder clients, completing colour schedules and achieving upgrades where possible.
  5. Manage Design Studio events or coordinate these through third party event providers when appropriate.
  6. Drive promotion of the Design Studio through collaboration with the Brickworks Group Marketing team.
  7. Attend all events (where appropriate) to create and maintain relationships with customers.
  8. Assist customers who visit the Design Studio, using all opportunities to promote Brickworks products.
  9. Assist with meeting Design Studio key performance indicators, managing contacts and creating opportunities within Salesforce CRM.
  10. Provide first class customer service in all instances.
  11. Raise purchase orders, submit invoices, submit credit card expenses by due dates and in line with company policy.
  12. Assist with keeping running costs within budget.
Success Requirements
  1. Tertiary qualification in marketing, design or business/event management.
  2. Proficient in Microsoft Suite.
  3. Colour Consultation experience desirable but not essential.
  4. Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) programs desired.
  5. Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
  6. Self-motivated and strong organisational skills.
  7. Accuracy, attention to detail and solid numeracy skills.
  8. Ability to work well under pressure and multi-task.
  9. Ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships with all staff.
